Isabel Marant is a French designer and founder of the fashion label of the same name.
Marant was born in 1967. Her mother is the director of Elite Agency. While Marant describes her style as a child as tomboyish, she began reworking her clothes when she was 15 years old. In 1994 she first launched a full ready-to-wear collection. Her work is rewarded with the Award de la Mode in 1997.
